Walter Lawrence Plaggemeyer Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Walter Lawrence Plaggemeyer (Big Timber, Montana), who passed away on July 18, 2025 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Dick Plaggemeyer and Delia Plaggemeyer (Moss); his sisters, Bertha Elliott (Clifford), Helen Elliott (Russell) and Beulah Howe (Jim); his sister-in-law Marilyn Plaggemeyer; his brother Tom Plaggemeyer; his son-in-law Richard Kinsey; and his grandson-in-law Master Sergeant Jon Dunbar.
He is survived by: his wife Ruth Hathaway; his children, Larry (Kim), Lori Kinsey, Linda Melvin (Joe) and Rick (Karen); his brother Richard Plaggemeyer; and his sister-in-law Barb Plaggemeyer. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren, twenty-eight great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the BIG Timber Evangelical Church (302 Bramble St, Big Timber, MT 59011). A reception will be held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 from 10:45 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
