Duane Dittmer wrote a sympathy message

“So sorry to hear of Barry’s passing. I met him while I was doing work study at the V A office 30 years ago. As a counselor for the VA he helped so many. His dry sense of humor and caring!!! My thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends! Duane”
