He is survived by: his wife Lorene Pankratz Lund; his children, Bryan (Blythe) and Lindsey (Damian Stoy); his grandchildren, Jamison, Grace, Dawson and Myah Hintz; his siblings, Grant Hintz (Leslie), Ross Hintz (Laurel), Jeff Hintz (Cathy), Roger Hintz (Sandi) and LeeAnn Rush (Richard); and his in-laws, Bonnie Reddig (Marlin), Wesley Pankratz (Jodie), Chuck Pankratz (Sonya) and Cheryl Faul (Jody). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
