He is survived by: his children, Calvin and Camie Metheny (Al); his grandchildren, A. J. Metheny, Dawny Metheny, Cally Matthews, Hunter, Laynie, Levi, Shelbie, Charlie and Preston; and his siblings, June Ashley, Betty Mayfield (John), Eva Profitt, Gary (Shirley Conley) and Shirley Meyers. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
