He is survived by: his wife Joanne Hamwey (Teeples); his daughter Corinna Hamwey; his granddaughters, Niccole Hamwey and Jessica Rose; his sister Marian Hamwey; his aunt Peggy; and his sisters-in-law, Edna Coates (George Coates) and Phyllis Joki. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
