It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Colen James Gibson of Billings, Montana, born in Havre, Montana, who passed away on October 4, 2022, at the age of 43, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his mother Valeria Stump Iron; his grandparents, Patrick and Julia Stump (Wolf Walker); his aunts and uncles, Darrell Stump, Leon Stump, Leslie Stump, Glenn Stump, Joyce Stump and Kathleen Stump; his great-grandparents, John Stump and Sophie Indian; his sisters, Sonya Sunchild, Sylvia Russette and Ursula Stump; and his brother-in-law Levi Beaumont.
He is survived by: his significant other Lisa Martinez; his children, Octavia, Camille, Alejandra Gibson, Josie Nava, Desmond and Diego Gibson; his siblings, Ashley Gunshows (John), Deidhra Hill, Misty Beaumont, Julie (Danny), Shiree Martinez (Tyrone Sr.), Julia Stump, Janet Chase (Paul) of Rocky Boy, MT, Tita Martinez of Billings, MT, Dawn Martinez of Billings, MT, Shawn Stump of Lame Deer, MT, Darrell Stump of Lame Deer, MT, Leslie Jr. Stump (Sutherland) of Lame Deer, MT, Cree Stump (Rose) of Lame Deer, MT and Danny Martinez (Diana); his aunt Jobyna Stump; his stepfather McKinley Iron; Alicia, Enrique, Antonia Torres and Antonio Merchant. He is also survived by many nephews, nieces, and grandchildren.
