We announce the death of Daniel Rinderknecht (Billings, Montana), born in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, who passed away on June 22, 2026, at the age of 71. Daniel will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He is survived by: his wife Cathy Schiefelbein; his children, Kessie Stevens, Holly Hall (Jan), Ditza Hopkins (Nick) and Luke Rinderknecht (Jeremy Durocher); his granddaughters, Paige, Brooke Hall, Morgan Stevens, Natalia and Anastasia Hopkins; and his siblings, Phil Rinderknecht (Trudy), Mike Rinderknecht (Pam), Don Rinderknecht (Penney) and Alice Dillon (Jeff). He is also survived by cousins, in-laws, nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, Worden, MT (organ and parking lot fund), LaVie Heath, Billings, MT, or a charity of your choice.
