He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Hirning and Rose Hirning; his brother Michael Hirning; and his brother-in-law Richard Saylor. He is survived by: his sisters, Wilma Alexander (Roy) and Carol Saylor; and his siblings' children, Anna Schladweiler (Joe), Julie Wolf (Anthony), Christina Taylor (Darrell), Stephanie Saylor, Jennifer Simons (Robert) and Stephen Saylor (Kristi).
