He was predeceased by: his parents, Heber Hile and Marian Hile; and his wife Carol Emmett. He is survived by: his former spouse Meva Lee Mayes; his children, Debbie of Billings, Shaun (Bonnie) of Cody and Deana Hauf (Mike) of Casper; his grandchildren, Amanda (Chad) of Lincoln City, Ariel (CJ) of Cheyenne, Kayla (Jake) of Casper, Brittany, Elysia and Rylee (Colton) of Billings; his great grandchildren, Brooklyn, Lila, Sienna, Allenna, Sophie, Cal, Brigham, Carley, Brinley, Brielle, Braelynn, Bentley and Braxen; Lee. He is also survived by his grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and Dorine's extended family.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, May 15th 2026 at 2:00 PM at 302 Sioux Ln, Billings, MT 59105. When COVID hit, he closed his barber shop, but many loyal customers continued coming to his home for haircuts right up until a few weeks before his illness.
