We are sad to announce that on November 13, 2025, at the age of 47, Desta M. Pertarb of Billings, Montana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her mother Cindy Devine (Joe); and her grandparents, Duane, Helen Nygaard, Elaine Rang, Melva Cundiff, Bob and Helen Butterfield.
She is survived by: her father Tim Nygaard (Barb); her children, Sadie Riggs (Skyler), Isaiah Metoyer, Aiden Metoyer and Tristan Pertarb; her husband John Pertarb; her grandchildren, Damien, Sylas and Avery Thumb; and her siblings, Jace Devine, Jake Devine (Kate), Jamison Devine, Amanda Opdahl (JD) and Chris Nygaard (Laken). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held on Monday, November 17th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Anderson Stevenson Wilke Funeral Home (3750 N Montana Ave, Helena, MT 59602). A burial was held on Monday, November 17th 2025 at the Forestvale Cemetery (490 Forestvale Rd, Helena, MT 59602).
