He is survived by: his parents, Judy Schopfer and Walt Schopfer; his sisters, Mimi Arbizzani (Jeff) and Sarah Mogensen (Shane); and his nieces and nephews, Corbin Arbizzani (Rita Park), Chandler Arbizzani, Mallory Reed (Josh), Hunter Mogensen and Dane Mogensen.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial contribution may be made in memory of Dustin Schopfer to Eagle Mount Billings or Special Olympics of Montana.
