He was predeceased by: his parents, George Steffans and Frances Steffans (Grahek); his wife Betty Finnicum; his son Steve; and his brother Bob Steffans.
He is survived by: his children, Cathy Brilz (Jack) of Laurel, Tim Steffans (Michelle) of Laurel and Jani Steffans (Dave Zigweid) of Olympia, WA; and his sister Frances Potts of Great Falls. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
