It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Fred Anderson Horpestad (Billings, Montana), who passed away on March 27, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Abraham Anderson and Laura Mae Horpestad (Thomas); his siblings, Abe Horpestad, Mae Marie Cook and Barbara Horpestad; and his granddaughter Michelle Murphy.
He is survived by: his wife Faye Stanisha; his children, Sandy Johnson of Billings, Patti Murphy (Kim) of Circle and Tom Horpestad (Cammy) of Grants Pass, OR.; and his grandchildren, Tracy Everly, Christy Johnson, Danielle Courtnage (Nathan), Sarah Wald (Travis), Courtney Lopez, Brett Murphy (Kalli) and Holly Bowlds. He is also survived by 11 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Lavina Voluntary Fire Department or Lavina Senior Center.
