She was predeceased by: her parents, John Adam and Lydia Pope; her husband Carl Kembel; her daughter Vicky; and her brothers, Alexander and James.
She is survived by: her daughter Becky; her son-in-law Dan Sorlie; her grandchildren, Chet Honstain, Jason, Callie Banfield, Josh and Jackie Sorlie; her great grandchildren, Jennifer, Brianna, Jaxon, Reese and Brittney; her sisters-in-law, CiCi Pope and Donna Kembel; her sisters, Sarah, Esther and Hilda; and her granddaughter Michelle. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 14th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Smith Downtown Chapel (925 S 27th St, Billings, MT 59101). A funeral service was held on Monday, September 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Trinity Lutheran Church (537 Grand Ave, Billings, MT 59102). A graveside service was held on Monday, September 15th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Mountview Cemetery (1704 Central Ave, Billings, MT 59101). A reception was held on Monday, September 15th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Trinity Lutheran Church (537 Grand Ave, Billings, MT 59102).
