He was predeceased by: his parents, John Ziegler and Margaret Ziegler; his siblings, Robert Ziegler and Kathryn Parry; and his son John.
He is survived by: his wife Stella Ziegler (Marapese); his children, Judith McGrath (Morgan) of Armonk, NY, James, Jr. (Susan) of Laurel, MT and Joel (Donna) of Scottsdale, AZ; his grandchildren, Sarah, Morgan, Jr., Alicia, Stella Jean, Amanda, Shandy, Justin, Ashley, Morgan, Sophia and Alecsander; his great grandchildren, James, Keilah and Izabella; and his family, Dr. Gregory, Dr. Goulet and Billings Clinic Hospital.
