He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Schwechten and Mary Schwechten; and his sister June Vaughn. He is survived by: his wife Carol Anderson (CJ); his sons, Guy Schwechten (Jennifer) and Dr. Kevin Schwechten (Amanda); his sister Patricia Armstrong; and his nephews, Dr. Dominic Muli and Jackson Wambua. He is also survived by his thirteen grandchildren; great-grandchildren.
