He was predeceased by: his parents, Helmer Carlson and Betty Carlson; and his grandson Michael. He is survived by: his wife Kathy; his children, Mike (Nancy), Steve (Jen), Todd (Angie) and Teal; and his grandsons, Mathew (Joey) and Brother Frank (Marta).
A memorial service was held on Thursday, December 4th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the MST Dahl Funeral Chapel (10 Yellowstone Ave, Billings, MT 59101).
