He was predeceased by: his parents, Adam Zahn and Annie Zahn (Eberly); his wife Lavina Zahn (Kilfoy); and his brothers, Leo Zahn, Mike Zahn and Bill Zahn.
He is survived by: his sons, James Allen Zahn (Sharyl) and Joe Zahn (Patty); and his siblings, Mary Ann Gabel, Walter Zahn and Andy Zahn. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren.
The family has requested that in lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Joe's name to the charity of your choice.
