Joy Waylander Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joy Waylander of Billings, Montana, who passed away on May 6, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her father Kenneth; her husband Marlin Waylander; her brother Clark; her sister-in-law Lois; her daughter-in-law Gayle; her granddaughter Emily; and her great grandchild Parker (Michael).

She is survived by: her children, Laurie Hornung (Tom), Gary (Connie), Gregg and David (Rhonda); her grandchildren, Stuart (Heidi), Ross (Kara), Phillip (Anna), Kenny (Chelsie), Derek (Rebecca), Jared (Jessica), Joshua (Rachel), Abigail (Anthony), Whitney (Chad) and Will; her stepgrandchildren, Brad (Ashley) and Tiffani; and her great grandchildren, Maggie, Greta, Kaia, Everett, Arie, Nyela, Thomas, Matilda, Olivia, Morgan, Carlie, Hudson, Arlo and Myles.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be directed to America Lutheran Church Endowment Fund or St. John's United Hospice.
