He was predeceased by: his parents, Helen Fischer and Joseph Fischer; and his brother Jimmy Fischer. He is survived by: his wife Susan Lesniak; his children, Amy Reger (J. R.), Patrick Fischer (Andrea) and James Fischer (Molly); his grandchildren, Ava, Flora, Micah, Rhett, Sophie, Weston, June and Ash; his siblings, Al Fischer (Ruth), Judy Jensen (Les) and Wayne Fischer; and his uncle Allen DeGree.
