Paul Schmaltz wrote a sympathy message

“Ken was always up for an adventure…a trip to Mexico, Grand Prix car race in Vegas, an excursion to Sturgis and the many memorable times competing with the Squire Lounge slo-pitch softball team. A typical week for Ken when I was around was…Monday & Wednesday-softball, Tuesday-Trap Shooting, Thursday-Golf League and finally Friday and the weekend. This was all done while smoking and indulging in a few Raineers. Kenny experienced life. Thanks Ken for sharing part of your life with me. Paul S.”
