Lena Heikes Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lena Heikes of Billings, Montana, born in Boise, Idaho, who passed away on February 4, 2023 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Rudolph Jantz and Caroline Jantz (Reiss); her sister Rose Hamilton; her brother-in-law Bud Hamilton; and her brother Allen Jantz.

She is survived by: her sister Rosie; her friend Lena; her sister-in-law Linda; her husband Kenneth; her sons, Craig (Lori Gafner) of Fort Collins, CO and Brian (Cynthia Favero-Heikes); her grandchildren, John of Colorado, Meg of Colorado, Jack of Colorado and Will Heikes of Colorado; her brothers, John Jantz (Myrna) and Kenny Jantz (Linda); her sister-in-law Marie Jantz of Idaho; and her nieces and nephews, Roger, Karl (Kris), Paul Hamilton (Shauna), Ina Jazskowiak (Tim), Cass Cook, Laura Vincent (Sean), Erik Jantz (Jerrie), Justin Jantz, Kendra Burlo (Sergey), Nathan and Matt Jantz.

They made many new friends, enjoyed their cottage very much, and endured living through the many difficulties of the pandemic.
