It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lyle H. Hansen of Billings, Montana, who passed away on April 16, 2026, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lyla Hansen (Myhre) and Harvey Hansen; his nephew Ken; his stepson Tom Ferguson; his grandsons, Chantz Gillman and Jeremy McKellup; and his former wife Diane Beck.
He is survived by: his wife Abby Ferguson; his children, Kyle Hansen, Kent Hansen (Emilie) and Kelley Sedillo; his stepchildren, Kelli Hilgendorf (Alan), John Ferguson (Diana) and Paul Ferguson (Cindy); his grandchildren, Addie, Iggy, Jessica Hilgendorf and Sarah Hilgendorf; his brothers, Glenn Hansen (Lisa) and Lyndon Hansen (Cheryl); and his nieces and nephews, Kerry, Mark, Breeta Brown and Kerstin Hansen.
