He was predeceased by: his parents, Virden James Nelson and June Smith. He is survived by: his wife Lynda Lowe; his children, Shawn Daniel (Jenifer), Sheldon Ray (Sheryn), Sherry Lyn (Jonathon), Sarah (David), Susan (Sterling), Samuel James, Scott Max (Jahmeliah) and Sally (Curtis); and his siblings, Ronald Kent (Jolene), Linda Bringhurst, Verdene Lyon, JaNae Henderson (Patrick), Julie Ashby (Richard), Reed August (Julie) and Royd Robert (Kate). He is also survived by 28 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
