It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Margaret Elizabeth Witzel of Billings, Montana, born in Moore, Montana, who passed away on October 8, 2022, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilmer Hertel and Margaret Hertel (Bricker); her stepmother Thelma Hertel; and her siblings, Jean Strong (Hertel) and John Hertel.
She is survived by: her husband John "Jack" Witzel; her children, Rita Huck (Steve) of Ballantine, Tami Schagunn (Jack), Randy Witzel (Deanna) of Billings and Cindi Fuller (Ron) of Spokane Valley, Washington.; her grandchildren, Lyndsi Huck, Kira Huck (Thomas Harding), Kelsi Schagunn (Sean Sinclair), Gavin Schagunn (Sally), Colter Witzel (Morgan), Morgan Witzel, Cayden Witzel, Shelbi Fuller and Hannah Fuller; her great grandchildren, Zachery Cooler, Dillon Cooler, Alyssa Cooler, Kinley Witzel and Kaia Witzel; and her foster daughter Cindy Sherman (George).
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made in Betty's name to Faith Chapel or charity of choice.
