He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Donald Barber and Marilyn Barber; his brothers, Paul, John and Phillip; his wife Annette; his children, Justin and Erin; his grandchildren, Jacoby and Morgan; his children, Caleb, Jill (Graham) and Marc; his grandchildren, Desmond and Jaxter; his son Jared; and his friends, Tucson, Denver, Savannah and Victoria.
He spent an astral summer in Antarctica (McMurdo and South Pole Stations) with National Science Foundation research to stabilize Antarctic air strips.
