We are sad to announce that on May 12, 2025, at the age of 73, Michael John Jansen (Billings, Montana) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Michael John leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Wilbur Jansen and Zoe Wilkins Jansen; his siblings, Pat and Sheree; his sons, Josh (Melissa), Jared, John (Carly) and Jeremiah (Dana); and his wife Janet Garfield Jansen. He was also cherished by grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorials be directed to the Golden Valley County Fire Department and the Broadview Fire Department, in honor of Mike's enduring commitment to his community.
