We announce the death of Patrick D. Nau (Billings, Montana), born in Cottonwood, Idaho, who passed away on September 23, 2026, at the age of 79. Patrick will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence and Marcella; his sister Amy; his brothers-in-law, Kenny and Bob; and his niece Jamie.
He is survived by: his wife Rita; his sons, Andrew Nau (Leslie) and Jon Nau; and his siblings, Janet, Joey (Roy) and Cindy (Larry).
A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church (2055 Woody Dr, Billings, MT 59102). A reception will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Yellowstone Country Club (3200 Paul Allen Wy, Billings, MT 59106).
Memorial donations may be made to Stillwater Hospice or St. John's United Transitional Rehab Center.
