He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Pete Hardt and Lydia Hardt (Bangert); his former wife Betty Lou Nielsen; his son Doug; his brother Ray; his sibling's children, Ray and Hardt Farms; his wife Suzanne Sandridge; his stepson Jeff Sandridge; his children, Wolfgang, Lorri Brown, Shelly Mangen (Chris) and Brad Hardt (Tammy); his grandchildren, Miranda Needham (Matt), Wendy Brown (Jeremy Holstad), Adrienne Mueller (Ryan), Melea Sexton (Joe), Celes Mangen, Joele Haemmerle (Jake), Ryley Hardt, Lee Hardt (Lindsey Hall) and Kady Hardt; and his great grandchildren, Finna, Paiden Needham, Dominique Mayer, Evani, Tyson Castro, Emeline, Werner and Conall Sexton.
