He is survived by: his wife Patricia "Pat" Skerritt; his sons, Alex (Deirdre McNamer) of Red Lodge and Randall "Randy"; his granddaughter Chloe Nixon of Chicago; Heather of Reno and Carlee Nixon of Reno. He is also survived by several brothers and sisters in law and many loved nieces and nephews and their children.
