We bid farewell to Robert E. Short in Billings, Montana, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on April 25, 2025 at the age of 84. Robert touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Orin Short and Erma Short; his son Billy Short; and his siblings, Viola Crosby, Vesta Lowish, Leila Wemhoff, Estle Short, Shirley Wangler, Phyllis Richardson and Gary Short.
He is survived by: his wife Sandy Short; his son Tom Short (Kristin) of Ballston Spa, NY; his grandchildren, Jared and Logan; his daughter Sonja Short (Mike Vraa); his grandsons, Alex and Gavin; his son Jeff Short (Kari) of Fort Bridger, WY; and his grandchildren, Anna Jo, Garrett and Dillon.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the First Baptist Church (218 N 34th St, Billings, MT 59101).
In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to The Michael J Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Disease Research.
