He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Lewis "Dugan" Maxson and Elizabeth Lowney Maxson; his sons, Benjamin Volk Maxson, James Lowney Maxson (Angie) of Yakima, Wash. and Vinnie; his wife Eileen Sheehy of Billings; his grandchildren, Oliver, Theo and Elsie Maxson of Yakima; his stepsons, Vincent Pavlish (Julie) of Missoula and Joseph Pavlish (Amy) of Boise; his stepgrandchildren, Lucy, James and Elliott Pavlish of Boise; his sisters, Margo Selway, Patsy Gauer, Dee Gregory (Clay) and Nancy Maxson; his former wife Carol Volk-Hamblen of Great Falls; his brother Jim; and his brother-in-law Glenn Gauer. He was also cherished by numerous nieces and nephews.
