He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester Zech and Dolores Zech; his brother Jerry; and his brother-in-law Tim Baltzer. He is survived by: his son Rako Zech (Melissa); his grandchildren, Samuel, Kara, Libby, Peter, Emma and Luke; his son Travis (Amber); his grandchildren, Noor and Janick; his sisters, Joy Carol Brakken (Ed) and Donna Baltzer; and his siblings' children, Tracy, Tim Zech (Jerry), Paige Dorsey (Carol) and Zersha Fischer (Donna).
A funeral service was held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Peace Lutheran Church (1301 Avenue D, Billings, MT 59102).
