She was predeceased by: her parents, Rufus Sr. Sue and Minnie Sue; her grandparents, William Cornelius (Pa), Rosetta, Henry and Ollie; her siblings, Rufus Jr., Carey, William, Rosetta and Beatrice; her children, Leroy, Gabriel and Helen; her daughter-in-law Brenda; and her grandchildren, Lajuana, Rahkeem and Robert Leroy (Butch).
She is survived by: her children, Robert, Malik, Jamar, Ernie, Evangelist Geraldine, Cynthia and Argola (Ruthie); her siblings, Floyd (OK), Mary Ann (OK), Louise (NC) and Rebecca Life (AR); and her friend David Kirkness.
She was a driving force in the establishment of The Black History Foundation of Yellowstone County and Billings celebrating Juneteenth Day.
