He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Atwood and Arlean Atwood; his sister Kim; and his brother-in-law Steve Kramer. He is survived by: his children, Lisa and Jay Atwood (Jan Cole Pursell); his brothers, Terry (Andrea) and Bruce Atwood (Michelle); and his cousin Sorry I. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.

“I’m so sorry to hear about the passing of Scott. He was such a kind soul. He used to come to Broadwater Elementary during the students lunch time. He and a friend would teach the students to play chess. He always had a large group very excited to learn the game. He would reward them with a pizza party at the end of the year.
