She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Lillian O'Neal and Ray O'Neal; her husband Ronald Rothe; her sister Pat Bonner of Altoona, Kansas.; and her children, Terry (Sandy), Rhonda King (Bret) and Cassandra Cochran (Eddie). She was also cherished by 15 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren.
