He was predeceased by: his parents, Ted Dewitt and Lillian Bernice Gillenwater (Campbell); his sister Dixie Lee; his wife Sally; his son Bobby; his siblings, Bobby and Mae; his nephew Dennis Busby; and his cousin Clint Campbell.
He is survived by: his daughter Kay; his son-in-law Steve Roush (The); his son Ted "Scott"; his daughter-in-law Denise Gillenwater; his grandchildren, Stephanie Roush, Stacy (Jess), Holmgren, Anthony "Tony" (Jamie), Ted "Justin" (Sara), Sean (Jade), Taffany (Joel) and Hansen; his great grandchildren, Grace, John, Emily, Joseph Holmgren, Amalie, Finnley, Riot Gillenwater, Asher and Ryder Hansen; his sister Sharon; his brother-in-law Harlan Rasmussen; his nieces and nephews, Wendy Gnehm, Tait Rasmussen, Jeannie Richey, Pricilla Hughes, Dan Babilla and Rebecca Lucas-Bordeau; and his cousin Linda Campbell Jackson.
