He was predeceased by: his father Steve Lein; his grandparents, Mitchell and Leona Granbois (Lemay); his aunt Janie; and his uncle Dingsy St. Germaine.

He is survived by: his mother Doreen Granbois; his sister Shantell Fowler; his nephew Ethan Fowler of Wolf Point, MT; his brother Joseph Johnson of Bozeman, MT; his uncle Doug Granbois (Connie) of Washington; his aunt Beulah Siljenberg (Larry) of Wolf Point, MT; his stepfather John Fowler of Wolf Point, MT; and his daughter Pyretta Blaze of Billings, MT. He is also survived by many cousins and close friends.
