He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest (Delia Agar) and N. Dakota. He is survived by: his wife Sharon; his sister Betty Mikkelsen (N. Dakota) of Langdon; and his children, Jon Agar (Scott Mattson), Jill Thelen (Tony) and Mark Agar (Laura). He is also survived by six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren, along with many nieces and nephews.
