William Hein Obituary
It is with sadness that the passing of William Hein (Billings, Montana) is shared. William, born on December 6, 1941, passed away on September 9, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
William will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around him. Friends and family will honor William by reflecting on shared memories and the positive influence he had in their lives. Though William is no longer present, the bonds he created and the experiences shared will endure. William’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew him.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Hein and Kate Hein; and his son Sam Hein. He is survived by: his wife Donna McArty. He is also survived by his children, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and many family and friends.
A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St Pius X Catholic Church (717 18th St W, Billings, MT 59102).
