He was predeceased by: his parents, George Buckhouse and Clara Buckhouse of George's Café; and his brothers, Lloyd, Fred (Sharon Blackman) and Bob (Stephanie Blackman).
He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann Blackman; his daughter Melanie Charlson; and his grandchildren, Benjamin Charlson and Annika Charlson. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and loving in-laws.
In February 2023, Jerry received the challenging diagnosis of Alzheimer's.
