Chad Friesz Obituary
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Chad Friesz (Bozeman, Montana), born in Carmel, California, who passed away on October 24, 2025, at the age of 39, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his grandfather Robert McIntosh; his stepgrandmother Audry Sundheim; and his pet Winston. He is survived by: his parents, Mary Sundheim (Jeff) and Wayne Friesz (Carol); his siblings, Cody Friesz and Amber Rohde (Carl); his stepsiblings, Zach Sundheim (Jess), Ashley Duncan (Reese), Rachel Reisenauer (Zach), Steph Schmidt-Claymore and Savannah Schmidt; his grandparents, Rosemary McIntosh, Clifford and Marlys Friesz; his friends, Sienna, Jane and Levi; and his pets, Albert and Randy. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, November 2nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Black Bull Golf Club (Restaurant) (148 Highnoon Way, Bozeman, MT 59718). A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, November 4th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the First Lutheran Church (408 9th St NW, Mandan, ND 58554).
