He was predeceased by: his mothers, Joy Thompson Wright Jr. and Marilyn Joann Smith Wright. He is survived by: his wife Corinne Wright; his children, Cheryl Abrahamson (Kyle) and Eric Wright (Teresa); his siblings, Linda Hanks and Michael Wright; and his grandchildren, Jacoby, Peter, Carys, Lucas and Harper.

He later continued his Masonic journey as a proud member of the Masonic fraternity, maintaining strong ties with his fellow brothers and supporting the values of charity, integrity and community.
