As Gene departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Gene may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Gene leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Maher and Josephine Maher; his wife Faye Miller; and his son Butch Johnson. He is survived by: his daughters, Linda Matthews (Leroy) and Mary Noyes (Dan); and his grandchildren, Lon Matthews (Christy), Dan Matthews, LeAnn Lundrum and Heather Weber (Brandan). He is also survived by four great grandchildren and one great- great grandson.
