He was predeceased by: his parents, Avyle Boom and Ruby Boom (Genzmer); and his sisters, Roxy and Mari Jo. He is survived by: his wife Faye Davis; his daughters, Lisa VanderBoom and Sara Smith (Pat); and his grandchildren, Emily, Sonya and James. He is also survived by eight nieces and nephews, and many other family and friends.
