With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Margaret Marie Tate (Bozeman, Montana), who passed away on February 1, 2026 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her mother Mary Gail; her husband George; her stepfather Howard A. H. Fieldsteel; her sister Pat; and her grandson Christopher.
She is survived by: her children, John Tate (Pamela) of Bozeman, Jerry Tate of Knoxville, TN, Charles Tate (Laurie) of Bozeman, Robin Tate of Bozeman, Robert Tate (Shari) of Helena, Gail Huls (Dale) of Bozeman and George Tate of Bozeman. She is also survived by 20 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren.
A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, February 11th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Resurrection Parish (1725 S 11th Ave, Bozeman, MT 59715). A burial will be held on Wednesday, February 11th 2026 at the Sunset Hills Cemetery (340 Golf Way, Bozeman, MT 59715).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Resurrection Parish in Bozeman.
