She was predeceased by: her parents, Clem Koster and Hazel Koster. She is survived by: her husband Van Schmidt; and her children, Darryl Schmidt (Sandy), Laura Rahe (Randy), Barbara Loewen (Steve), Brad Schmidt (Judy) and Gary Schmidt (Donna). She is also survived by 15 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Holy Family Parish (104 E Birch St, Three Forks, MT 59752).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Holy Family Parish.
