He was predeceased by: his parents, Willis Aye and Margaret Aye; his daughter Kay; and his brother Fred Aye. He is survived by: his wife Betty Hagedorn; his children, Lester Aye (Dawn) and Linda Kreiner (Chuck); his grandchildren, Elena Kreiner, Lea, Rebecca, Justin Aye, Stephanie Roberts (John) and John Kramme (Amanda); his great grandchildren, Collin, Aiden and Dylan Roberts; his grandchildren, Madisyn, Avery, Krystin and Hunter Kramme; and his siblings, Peggy Aye of Mesquite, Arizona, Kathy Aye of Wibaux, Montana, Bret Aye (Tanna) of Miles City, Montana and Aaron Aye of Miles City, Montana. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 24th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Stevenson & Son's Funeral Home (101 Wilson St, Broadus, MT 59317). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 25th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Powder River Congregational Church (309 Wilson St, Broadus, MT 59317).
