He was predeceased by: his parents, Archie Richards and Marjorie Richards; his sister Peggy Vivian; his brothers-in-law, Jim Vivian and Frank Glidden; and his friends, Chris, Loretta Mangen and John Mangen.
He is survived by: his wife Susan Richards (Cathro) of Colstrip, MT; his children, Michael B. Richards of Broadus, MT and Michelle Richards (Shane) of Colstrip; his granddaughter Melinda Kluver (Freeman); his great grandchild Jessa; his siblings, Helen Glidden of Taylor, NE, Kenneth Richards of Dallas, TX, Jerry Richards (Terrie) of Plymouth, CA and Larry Richards (Jody) of Billings, MT; his sister-in-law Julie Richards of Saint Paul Park, MN; his close friend Melinda Bieshuevel; and his pet Belle. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
