He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Kay Childs and Lorraine Marie Barth Childs; his wife Mary Frances Childs; his son-in-law Mat Metcalf; and his stepson Jon Paul Loomis.
He is survived by: his children, Amy Metcalf of Idaho Falls, ID, Ginger Lienemann (Ryan) and Arthur "KC" Childs, III of Idaho Falls, ID; his siblings, Ted Childs of Spokane, WA and Regina Kaupanger (Eric) of Scottsdale, AZ; his grandsons, Cleveland "Michael" Metcalf, Andrew Kay Metcalf, Kyle Lienemann, Tyler Lienemann and Brandon Loomis; and his great grandchild Lily Kay Metcalf.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggest donations to Lady of the Rockies or Knights of Columbus Council 1663 in Idaho Falls.
